Oramylin-D Tablet

Oramylin-D Tablet may be taken with or without food. Take it in the dose and duration advised by the doctor. To get the most benefit, take it regularly at the same time each day and continue taking it until your prescription is finished. Do not take it more than or longer than prescribed by the doctor, as that may cause harmful effects.

It is generally safe medicine with little or no side effects. However, if you experience any symptom which you think is caused by the medicine, let your doctor know. They may be able to suggest ways to reduce or prevent the side effects.

Before taking this medicine, it is important to let your doctor know if you have any preexisting medical conditions or if you are taking any other medications. Oramylin-D Tablet is a combination of six medicines : Methylcobalamin, Alpha Lipoic Acid, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Vitamin D3, Folic Acid, and Thiamine mononitrate. Methylcobalamin is a form of vitamin B12 that restores its level in the body thereby helping in treating certain anemias and nerve problems. Alpha lipoic acid acts as a potent antioxidant (substance that protects against cell damage) by neutralizing the free radicals (waste products formed in the body during energy production) such as reactive oxygen and nitrogen species. Further, it initiates natural antioxidant processes in the body. It also maintains the levels of Vitamin E and Vitamin C in the body. Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, a supplement of vitamin B6, is required by your body for utilization of energy in the foods you eat, production of red blood cells, and proper functioning of nerves. Vitamin D3 is a form of vitamin D. It raises vitamin D levels in your blood. This in turn raises calcium levels in your blood by helping you absorb more calcium from food.
