Inform the doctor if your child is suffering from heart disease, genetic disorders involving blood vessels, seizures, psychiatric disorders, diabetes, photoallergy (allergy to sunlight), neuromuscular disorders, or rheumatoid arthritis. My child has been passing red-brown urine ever since he started taking OFM 50/100 Suspension. Is it normal?
Yes, it is normal. OFM 50/100 Suspension contains an active ingredient called metronidazole, which can cause red-brown urine. It is a harmless side effect. It will subside once the medicine is stopped after the completion of the treatment.
