Introduction

Nimelide Plus 100 mg/325 mg Tablet is a combination medicine which helps in relieving pain. It is used to relieve pain and inflammation in conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and osteoarthritis. It is also used to relieve fever, muscle pain, back pain, toothache, or pain in the ear and throat.

Nimelide Plus 100 mg/325 mg Tablet should be taken with food. This will prevent you from getting an upset stomach. The dose will depend on what you are taking it for and how well it helps your symptoms. You should take it as advised by your doctor. Do not take more or use it for a longer duration than recommended by the doctor.

The most common side effects of this medicine include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and increased liver enzymes. If any of these side effects bother you or get worse, you should speak to your doctor. Your doctor may be able to suggest ways of preventing or reducing the side effects.

  • Coping with Increased liver enzymes
    There may be no symptoms, so your doctor should carry out a blood test and give you advice. Some lifestyle changes can bring down levels of liver enzymes. In general, you will need to stop drinking alcohol or limit the amount you drink, lose weight and keep active. Drink plenty of fluids to avoid dehydration. Eat a healthy diet. Some particular foods like nuts, fatty fish, coffee, tea, olive oil, sprouts and bananas may be beneficial. Try to control stress as this can make your symptoms worse.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Nimelide Plus 100 mg/325 mg Tablet is to be taken with food.

Yes, the use of Nimelide Plus can cause nausea and vomiting. Taking it with milk, food or with antacids can prevent nausea. Avoid taking fatty or fried foods along with this medicine. In case of vomiting, drink plenty of water or other fluids by taking small and frequent sips. Talk to your doctor if vomiting persists and you notice any signs of dehydration, like dark colored and strong-smelling urine and a low frequency of urination.
