Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Nexvenla OD Plus Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Nexvenla OD Plus Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Desvenlafaxine and clonazepam. Desvenlafaxine is a serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI) which works by increasing the levels of chemical messengers (serotonin and noradrenaline), natural substances in the brain that help maintain mental balance. Clonazepam is a benzodiazepine. It works by increasing the action of GABA, a chemical messenger which suppresses the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain.
Nexvenla OD Plus Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.

Nexvenla OD Plus Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy. There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.
Nexvenla OD Plus Tablet is probably unsafe to use during lactation.
Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
Nexvenla OD Plus Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.
Nexvenla OD Plus Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Nexvenla OD Plus Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor. Use of Nexvenla OD Plus Tablet can cause excessive sleepiness in patients with end stage kidney disease.
Nexvenla OD Plus Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Nexvenla OD Plus Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
