Scabies
Scabies is a condition caused by tiny insects called mites that infest and irritate your skin. Nexoscab Lotion kills the mites and their eggs present on the skin. This gives relief from itching, swelling and redness. Nexoscab Lotion also helps kill head lices and their eggs, therbey giving you relief from itching and irritation caused by lice. It is normally effective in one or two applications however complete the course of treatment for better results.

How to use Nexoscab Lotion

This medicine is for external use only. Use this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Shake it well and apply to the area evenly.

How Nexoscab Lotion works

Nexoscab Lotion is a combination of two medicines: cetrimide and gamma benzene hexachloride. Cetrimide kills certain bacteria and fungus by damaging their protective covering. Gamma benzene hexachloride causes paralysis in parasites (lice and mites) by getting absorbed into them and kills parasites and their eggs.

Quick tips

  • Apply a thin layer of this medicine all over the body and leave it for 8-14 hours before taking a bath or shower.
  • Avoid getting it in your eyes, nose, or mouth. If this happens, rinse with water immediately.
  • You will still be itchy for a while after successful treatment. If the itching becomes troublesome, consult your doctor to ease this. Moisturizing creams can provide temporary relief from itching.
  • Clothes, towels, and bed linen should be machine-washed with hot water after the first treatment application. This helps kill the scabies mites.
