Cetrimide + Gamma Benzene Hexachloride is a combination of two medicines: cetrimide and gamma benzene hexachloride. Cetrimide kills certain bacteria and fungus by damaging their protective covering. Gamma benzene hexachloride causes paralysis in parasites (lice and mites) by getting absorbed into them and kills parasites and their eggs.

  • Apply a thin layer of this medicine all over the body and leave it for 8-14 hours before taking a bath or shower. 
  • Avoid getting it in your eyes, nose, or mouth. If this happens, rinse with water immediately.
  • You will still be itchy for a while after successful treatment. If the itching becomes troublesome, consult your doctor to ease this. Moisturizing creams can provide temporary relief from itching.
  • Clothes, towels, and bed linen should be machine-washed with hot water after the first treatment application. This helps kill the scabies mites.
