New Okaflox M Syrup is a combination of two antibiotics: Ofloxacin and Metronidazole. Ofloxacin kills bacteria by preventing them from reproducing and repairing themselves. Metronidazole kills the bacteria and other microorganisms that cause infections by damaging the DNA. Together, they treat your infection effectively.
New Okaflox M Syrup may cause symptoms such as flushing, increased heartbeat, nausea, thirst, chest pain and low blood pressure with alcohol (Disulfiram reactions).

New Okaflox M Syrup may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
Do not drive unless you are feeling well. New Okaflox M Syrup may make you feel sleepy, dizzy, confused. You may have hallucinations, fits (convulsions) or temporary eyesight problems (such as blurred or double vision) affecting your ability to drive.
New Okaflox M Syrup should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of New Okaflox M Syrup may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
