Uses of Neparich Eye Drop

Neparich Eye Drop is used in post operative pain
It is used to prevent and treat postoperative pain and inflammation associated with cataract surgery. It also reduces the risk of postoperative macular oedema associated with cataract surgery in diabetic patients.

How to use Neparich Eye Drop

This medicine is for external use only.Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye/ear without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid or ear. Wipe off extra liquid.

How Neparich Eye Drop works

Neparich eye drop is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by blocking the release of prostaglandin, that causes allergy symptoms and inflammation (swelling and redness).

Expert advice for Neparich Eye Drop

Do not use Nepafenac eye drops if you are allergic to nepafenac, other pain-relieving medication, or any ingredients in these eye drops. Shake well eye drop bottle before use and close the bottle cap firmly immediately after use.Do not touch your eye or eyelid, surrounding areas or other surfaces with the dropper since it can infect the drops. If you are using other eye drops, wait at least five minutes between using nepafenac and the other drops. If you use more nepafenac than you should, rinse your eye with warm water.Do not give this medicine to children and adolescents below 18 years old because the safety and efficacy in this population has not been established.Do not drive or use machines after instilling nefapenac eye drops as it may blur your vision. Avoid sunlight during treatment with nefapenac eye drops.Do not use contact lenses after surgery and while using nepafenac.Do not use the eye drops after 4 weeks of opening the bottle. Talk to your doctor, pharmacist or nurse before using nefapenac eye drop:
  • if you have bruising or bleeding problems or had history of it.
  • if you have any other eye problem or an infection or if you are using other medicines in the eye (especially topical steroids).
  • if you have had repeated eye surgery within a short period of time.
  • if you have diabetes.
  • if you have rheumatoid arthritis.
