Neoscab Lotion should be used in the dose and duration as advised by the doctor. Wash your hands before using this medicine. It is advised to check the label for directions before use. Wash your hands before using this medicine. Apply only to the affected areas.

Do not use this medicine more than the recommended dose. Inform your doctor if you have known allergies from this medicine. It may cause application site reactions  such as burning, irritation, itching and redness in some people. If these side effects persist for a longer duration, please consult the doctor. Treatment of Scabies
Scabies is a condition caused by tiny insects called mites that infest and irritate your skin. Neoscab Lotion kills the mites and their eggs present on the skin. This gives relief from itching, swelling and redness. Neoscab Lotion also helps kill head lice and their eggs, thereby giving you relief from itching and irritation caused by lice. It is normally effective in one or two applications however complete the course of treatment for better results.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

How to use Neoscab Lotion

How Neoscab Lotion works

Neoscab Lotion is a combination of two medicines: cetrimide and gamma benzene hexachloride. Cetrimide kills certain bacteria and fungi by damaging their protective covering. Gamma benzene hexachloride causes paralysis in parasites (lice and mites) by getting absorbed into them and kills them and their eggs.

Quick tips

  • Make sure to thoroughly wash your hands before and after applying Neoscab Lotion. 
  • Do not apply it on broken or crusted skin, or open skin sores. 
  • Do not let it get in contact with the eyes, ears, nose, or mouth. Rinse with water if the drug accidentally gets in these areas. 
  • Do not use a large amount of Neoscab Lotion or longer than prescribed, as it won’t deliver quick results and rather increase the risk of side effects.
  • Do not give it to other people with the same symptoms as yours, as it may worsen their condition.
