How to use Moximum Eye Ointment

This medicine is for external use only. Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the tube close to the eye/ear without touching it. Gently squeeze the tube and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid or ear. Wipe off extra liquid.

Moximum Eye Ointment is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing them from reproducing and repairing themselves. This treats your infection.

Moximum Eye Ointment may make you feel dizzy or light-headed, you may experience a sudden, transient loss of vision, or you may faint for a short period. This may affect your driving ability.
Kidney

Moximum Eye Ointment is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Moximum Eye Ointment is recommended.
However, inform your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease.
Liver
Moximum Eye Ointment should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Moximum Eye Ointment may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Limited information is available on the use of Moximum Eye Ointment in these patients. No dose adjustment is recommended in patients with mild to moderate liver disease.
