Montekan-L Tablet

Montekan-L Tablet can be taken with or without food. Take it in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on the severity of your condition and how you respond to the medicine. Keep taking the medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early, your symptoms may come back, and your condition may worsen.

The most common side effects are nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, dry mouth, headache, skin rash, flu-like symptoms, and fatigue. Most of these are temporary and usually resolve with time. Contact your doctor straight away if you are at all concerned about any of these side effects.

This medicine may cause dizziness and sleepiness, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine, as it can worsen your sleepiness. Let your doctor also know about all other medicines you are taking, as some may affect, or be affected by, this medicine.

• Do not take more than the recommended amount of Montekan-L Tablet or mix it with other cold or antihistamine medicines without first talking to a doctor.
• Make sure you always have enough Montekan-L Tablet on hand so you do not miss any doses and can keep getting treatment.
• To help reduce symptoms along with Montekan-L Tablet, avoid dust, smoke, and known allergens as much as possible.
• Drink lots of fluids to help thin out mucus and make it easier to breathe.
• If your symptoms don't go away or get worse, or if you're not sure how much Montekan-L Tablet to take, talk to your doctor.
• Montekan-L Tablet may cause serious mood or behaviour changes, including depression, sleep problems, and suicidal thoughts or behaviour. Stop taking it and contact your doctor immediately if you experience any of these symptoms.
