Mafnagesic Tablet is to be taken with food. This will prevent you from getting an upset stomach. The dose will depend on what you are taking it for and how well it helps your symptoms. You should take it as advised by your doctor. Do not take more or use it for a longer duration than recommended by the doctor.

How Mafnagesic Tablet works

Mafnagesic Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Mefenamic Acid and Paracetamol. It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause fever, pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).

  • Take Mafnagesic Tablet with food to reduce the risk of stomach irritation.
  • Avoid taking Mafnagesic Tablet with other medicines containing paracetamol or other NSAIDs unless advised by your doctor.
  • Mafnagesic Tablet may cause dizziness or sleepiness, so avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how it affects you.
  • Stop taking Mafnagesic Tablet and consult your doctor if you develop diarrhea while using this medicine.
  • Watch for warning signs such as severe stomach pain or black/tarry stools, and seek medical attention if they occur.
  • Avoid alcohol while taking Mafnagesic Tablet as it may increase drowsiness and the risk of stomach or liver problems.
  • Stay well hydrated while taking Mafnagesic Tablet, as dehydration may increase the risk of kidney-related side effects.
  • Inform your doctor if you develop rash, swelling, or other signs of allergy while taking Mafnagesic Tablet.
  • Do not use Mafnagesic Tablet for long periods without medical supervision.
