Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Lipicard-AV Tablet is to be taken with food.
Lipicard-AV Tablet is a combination of two lipid-lowering medicines: Atorvastatin and fenofibrate. Atorvastatin prevents your body from making "bad" cholesterol (LDL) while fenofibrate works by lowering the levels of triglycerides in your blood. Both raise the levels of “good” cholesterol (HDL).

Lipicard-AV Tablet is a combination of two medicines that provide better control of high cholesterol and triglyceride levels.
It decreases the risk of heart diseases and helps prevent strokes and heart attacks.
It should be taken in addition to regular exercise and low-fat diet to lower levels of fat in the blood.
Notify your doctor if you experience muscle symptoms (pain or weakness), particularly if accompanied with fever.
- Notify your doctor if you experience stomach pain, loss of hunger, a sick feeling or dark urine.
Do not discontinue Lipicard-AV Tablet without consulting your doctor even if you feel better.
Avoid alcohol consumption (includes wine, beer, and liquor).

Lipicard-AV Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Human and animal studies have shown significant adverse effects on the foetus. Please consult your doctor.
Lipicard-AV Tablet is probably unsafe to use during lactation.
Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
Lipicard-AV Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive.
Lipicard-AV Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Lipicard-AV Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Lipicard-AV Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
