L-Cetriver Syrup can be taken with or without food. The dose required by you may vary depending on what you are taking it for. This medicine is usually taken in the evening, but follow the advice of your doctor on how to take it. You may need this medicine only on days you have symptoms, but if you are taking it to prevent the symptoms then you should take it regularly. - Avoid giving L-Cetriver Syrup with fatty meals and fruit juice as both can reduce the absorption of the medicine.
- Dry mouth can occur as a side effect of taking L-Cetriver Syrup. Taking sips of water may help.
- L-Cetriver Syrup can trigger constipation in your child. Give plenty of fluids and a fiber-rich diet to your child.
- L-Cetriver Syrup should be avoided in children who are less than 4 years of age as there is a risk of respiratory distress.
