Product introduction

Kymozen-D Tablet is to be taken with food. This will prevent you from getting an upset stomach. The dose will depend on what you are taking it for and how well it helps your symptoms. You should take it as advised by your doctor. Do not take more or use it for longer duration than recommended by the doctor.

The most common side effects of this medicine include nausea, vomiting, indigestion, heartburn, stomach pain, loss of appetite, and diarrhea. If any of these side effects bother you or get worse, you should speak to your doctor. Your doctor may be able to suggest ways of preventing or reducing the side effects.

Before taking it, you should let your doctor know if you have a history of ulcer or bleeding in your stomach, high blood pressure, or have any trouble with your heart, kidneys, or liver. Let your doctor also know about all the other medicines you are taking because they may affect, or be affected by, this medicine.

How Kymozen-D Tablet works

Kymozen-D Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Diclofenac and Trypsin Chymotrypsin which relieve pain and inflammation. Diclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that are responsible for pain, fever and inflammation (redness and swelling). Trypsin Chymotrypsin is a combination of enzymes which break down proteins into smaller fragments, thereby making them available for absorption into the blood. Once absorbed, they increase blood supply in the affected area and reduce swelling.

Use of painkillers lowers the levels of prostaglandins in the body leading to kidney damage on long-term use. Use of painkillers is not recommended to patients with underlying kidney disease.
It may take about an hour to notice the initial benefits of pain relief after taking Kymozen-D Tablet.
If you forget to take the scheduled dose of Kymozen-D Tablet and it is almost time for your next dose, skip the dose you missed and take your next dose at the scheduled time.
