Kidiclor-PD Drop

To ensure maximum absorption, give Kidiclor-PD Drop an hour before or two hours after meals. In case your child develops a stomach upset, it is better to give it with meals. Give it as per the dose, time, and way prescribed by the doctor as these depend upon the type and severity of the infection. If your child vomits within 30 minutes of the intake, give the same dose again, but do not double dose if it is the time for the next dose.

Some temporary side effects of this medicine include vomiting, diarrhea, nausea, abdominal pain, and mild skin rash. If your child develops these side effects, they should go away on their own. In case these side effects don’t subside on their own or become bothersome for your child, report to the doctor without any delay.

Let the doctor know if your child has ever had any previous episodes of allergy, heart problem, blood disorder, birth defects, airway obstruction, lung anomaly, gastrointestinal problem, skin disorder, liver impairment, and kidney malfunction. Being aware of your child’s medical history will help the doctor make dose alterations and plan your child’s overall treatment.

• Bacterial infections

• Kidiclor-PD Drop is not recommended for children less than 1 month of age.
• Ensure that your child completes the entire course of antibiotics. Quitting in between may cause the bacteria to multiply again, become resistant, or cause another infection.
• Give this medicine with food to avoid an upset stomach.
• Give your child plenty of water if they develop diarrhea as a side effect.
• Conditions like common cold and flu are caused by viruses. Never use this medicine for such conditions.
• Avoid saving up the medicine for future use and focus on giving Kidiclor-PD Drop to your child for their current infection.
• Stop this medicine and immediately report to your child’s doctor in case your child develops an itchy rash, facial swelling, or breathing difficulties while taking this medicine.
• Your doctor has prescribed Kidiclor-PD Drop to cure your infection and improve your symptoms.
• Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Stopping it early may make the infection come back and harder to treat.
• Take it with food to avoid an upset stomach.
• Diarrhea may occur as a side effect but should stop when your course is complete. Inform your doctor if it does not  stop or if you find blood in your stools.
• Avoid consuming alcohol while taking Kidiclor-PD Drop as it may cause increased side effects.
• Discontinue Kidiclor-PD Drop and inform your doctor immediately if you get a rash, itchy skin, swelling of face and mouth, or have difficulty in breathing.
