Product introduction

Jyferal-AD Tablet may be taken with or without food. It should be used in the dose and duration prescribed by your doctor. It is advised to take this medicine at a fixed time to avoid missing a dose.

This medicine should not be taken more than the recommended dose. It is usually a safe medicine with very minimal or no side effects. However, if you experience severe diarrhea, vomiting, or constipation, you should consult your doctor without delay.

Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have any other health conditions. Inform your doctor if you are taking any other medicines or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. It is advised not to take alcohol after taking this medicine.

How to use Jyferal Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Jyferal-AD Tablet may be taken with or without food.

How Jyferal Tablet works

Jyferal-AD Tablet is a vitamin and mineral supplement. Adenosylcobalamin is an active form of vitamin B12. It works by restoring vitamin B12 deficiency in the body and protects proper functioning of nerves and mitochondria (powerhouse of the cell). Carbonyl iron treats or prevents iron deficiency and iron deficiency anemia. Folic acid is required for production of red blood cells. It prevents and treats folate deficiency and anemia. Zinc sulfate works as a source of zinc that is needed for the body's immune system to work properly. It plays a role in growth, wound healing, and maintaining gut health. It is also needed for the senses of taste and smell.

Quick tips

  • Avoid taking antacids 2 hours before or after taking Jyferal-AD Tablet, as they make it harder for your body to absorb this medicine.
  • Let your doctor know if you are taking any other medications like antihypertensives, antibiotics, or medicines for heart disease or bone disorders.
  • Drink plenty of water while taking this medicine.
  • Along with taking Jyferal-AD Tablet, take a healthy diet, sleep for a minimum of 6-7 hours at night, and reduce stress levels.
