Product introduction

Jpdrox S Chewable Tablet is a combination of three medicines. Take this medicine in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. Take it by mouth before meals, preferably at bedtime. In case you miss a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. Always complete the prescribed course of treatment. Do not take more than the recommended doses of this medicine as high dose may have harmful effects on the body.

This medicine is generally well tolerated by patients. However, it may cause constipation and diarrhea. Proper hydration helps to overcome these side effects. Always consult your doctor before taking this medicine if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Also inform your doctor if you are suffering from any severe stomach, liver, kidney disease, or any other known disease. Immediately consult your doctor if you experience severe diarrhea and constipation.

Jpdrox S Chewable Tablet relieves excessive acidity in your stomach which prevents heartburn and indigestion. Usually, it is used along with other medicines for management of your condition.
Continue taking it for as long as the doctor may advise you to. You need to take this medicine regularly to get the most out of it. Take a fiber-rich diet, avoid oily or spicy food and drink plenty of fluids while taking it to make sure you stay hydrated.
Stomach ulcers
Stomach ulcers are painful sores that develop in the inner lining of the stomach or gut (intestine). Jpdrox S Chewable Tablet reduces the amount of acid your stomach makes which prevents further damage to the ulcer as it heals naturally. You may be given other medicines along with this medicine depending on what caused the ulcer. You need to keep taking Jpdrox S Chewable Tablet as prescribed by the doctor for it to be effective, even if the symptoms seem to disappear.
Bloating
Bloating refers to excessive buildup of gas in our stomach due to abnormal muscle movement in our stomach and intestines. Jpdrox S Chewable Tablet improves the movement of food in the stomach and helps prevent bloating.
You should take it exactly as it is prescribed for it to be effective. Some simple lifestyle changes can help stop or reduce bloating. Eat healthy, avoid spicy or oily food, exercise daily for at least 30 minutes and do not overeat.

How Jpdrox S Chewable Tablet works

Jpdrox S Chewable Tablet is a combination of two antacids (Aluminium Hydroxide and Magnesium) and an antifoaming medicine (Simethicone). The antacids neutralise excess acid in stomach. The antifoaming medicine disintegrates gas bubbles and allows easy passage of gas.

Quick tips

  • This medicine can make it harder for your body to absorb other medicines, especially certain antibiotics. Avoid taking any other medicine within 2 hours before or 2 hours after you take Jpdrox S Chewable Tablet.
  • Call your doctor if your symptoms do not improve within 2 weeks of taking this medicine.
  • Inform your doctor if you are taking any medicines which thin the blood (anticoagulants, e.g. warfarin).
  • Incorporate the following lifestyle changes in order to prevent acidity and bloating:
    1. Make sure you eat regular meals and drink plenty of water
    2. Avoid spicy and fatty fried food
    3. Lose weight if you are obese
    4. If you are a smoker, consider giving up
    5. Don't drink too much alcohol
    6. Do not go to bed immediately after taking a meal. Sit in a relaxed position for some time for better digestion.
