How Ifex M Injection works

Ifex M Injection is a combination of two medicines: Mesna and Ifosfamide. Mesna is an anti-cancer medication. It works by damaging the genetic material (DNA) of the cancer cells and stops their growth and multiplication. Ifosfamide is a cytoprotective medicine which is added to reduce the risk of bleeding and swelling in the bladder caused by Mesna.

CAUTION
Ifex M Injection may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.
Pregnancy

Lactation

Ifex M Injection is unsafe to use during lactation. Data suggests that the drug may cause toxicity to the baby, or the mother is suffering from a condition in which breastfeeding is not advisable.

Ifex M Injection should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Ifex M Injection may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
