Psoriasis
Psoriasis is a skin problem in which skin cells build up and form scales and dry patches which are itchy and painful. Applying HeelCORT Ointment helps manage psoriasis symptoms like itching, pain, redness, swelling or irritation. It also moisturizes the skin and makes it soft and smooth. Clean and dry the affected area before applying HeelCORT Ointment. Use it atleast 2-3 times a day or as prescribed. You may see change in your skin appearance after few weeks.

Eczema
Eczema is a condition in which patches of skin swells and becomes dry, itchy, rough and red. HeelCORT Ointment moisturizes the skin and helps reduce dryness and itchiness. It also reduces swelling and redness at the affected area. Apply HeelCORT Ointment 1-2 times a day or as prescribed by your doctor. You might see an improvement in your skin after 2 to 3 weeks of treatment.

How HeelCORT Ointment works

HeelCORT Ointment is a combination of four medicines: Clobetasol, Salicylic Acid, Lactic Acid and Urea which treat eczema and psoriasis. Clobetasol is a steroid medicine. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy. Salicylic Acid, Lactic Acid and Urea are keratolytic medicines which break down keratin clumps, remove dead skin cells and soften the skin. They also enhances the absorption of Clobetasol into the skin.

HeelCORT Ointment is used to treat the redness, swelling, itching, and discomfort of various skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis.
