Product introduction
Head-Off Tablet may be prescribed alone or in combination with another medicine. It can be taken with or without food. The dose and duration will depend on the severity of your condition and how well it helps your symptoms. Use it regularly and do not discontinue it until the doctor tells you it is right to stop.
Using Head-Off Tablet may cause common side effects such as headaches, ringing in the ears, dizziness, tiredness, rashes, and vision changes. - Take Head-Off Tablet exactly as prescribed. Do not take more than the recommended dose.
- Avoid alcohol while taking Head-Off Tablet, as it may increase dizziness and the risk of stomach bleeding.
- Head-Off Tablet may cause dizziness, so avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how it affects you.
- Do not take Head-Off Tablet with other NSAID painkillers unless advised by your doctor.
- Inform your doctor if you have a history of stomach ulcers, acid reflux, heart disease, kidney disease, asthma, or high blood pressure.
- Stop taking Head-Off Tablet and seek urgent medical help if you have black stools, vomit blood, severe stomach pain, chest pain, or swelling of the face or lips.
- Seek medical advice if you experience palpitations, fainting, or severe dizziness, as domperidone may affect heart rhythm in some people.
- Stay well hydrated and eat light meals if you experience nausea.
- Avoid common migraine triggers such as bright light, loud noise, missed meals, alcohol, and foods that can trigger your headaches.
- Consult your doctor if headaches become frequent or severe despite using Head-Off Tablet.
