How Glycimate Tablet works

Glycimate Tablet consists of three ingredients. Ferrous asparto glycinate restores the iron levels in the body, which further aids in producing red blood cells and transporting oxygen to body tissues. Methylcobalamin is a form of vitamin B12 that is crucial for nerve health, DNA synthesis, and red blood cell production. L-Methyl folate (a form of folic acid) is essential for DNA synthesis, cell division, and the formation of red blood cells.

Quick tips

  • Before starting any new dietary supplement, it's important to consult with a doctor. They can evaluate your specific health needs, medical history, and current medications to determine if the supplement is appropriate for you.
  • Check the supplement's ingredients to ensure you are not allergic or sensitive to any of its components.
  • If you have any pre-existing health conditions, such as diabetes or kidney problems, or are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your healthcare provider before using the supplement.

Frequently asked questions

Glycimate Tablet is commonly used to treat and prevent anemia, especially iron deficiency anemia and megaloblastic anemia. It also supports energy production, red blood cell formation, and overall nutritional health, particularly in nutritional deficiency and recovery from illness.
Glycimate Tablet helps in correcting low iron levels, enhances hemoglobin, prevents fatigue, and maintains healthy nerve and brain function. These supplements are especially useful for pregnant women, people with poor diets, or those recovering from chronic illnesses.
You should take Glycimate Tablet as directed by your doctor. It is usually taken once daily after meals. Avoid taking it with tea, milk, or antacids, and allow a 2-hour gap between such items to ensure better absorption of Glycimate Tablet.
You should avoid taking Glycimate Tablet with milk, tea, coffee, or calcium supplements, as they can reduce iron absorption. Also, do not take other multivitamins or iron products unless prescribed, to prevent overdose or interactions.
Yes, if prescribed, Glycimate Tablet can be safely taken long-term to correct or prevent deficiencies. However, do not self-medicate or exceed the recommended dose. Prolonged or high-dose intake without deficiency may lead to iron overload or masking of other conditions.
Dark-colored or black stool is a common and harmless side effect of iron supplementation (present in Glycimate Tablet). It happens due to the unabsorbed iron in the digestive tract and does not indicate internal bleeding unless accompanied by pain or other symptoms.
The time Glycimate Tablet takes to show results depends on your nutritional status. For example, improvements in energy levels may take a few weeks, while correction of anemia or nerve-related symptoms may take longer.
