Use of this medicine may cause some common side effects such as increased appetite, weight gain, frequent urge to urinate, Cushing syndrome, cough, upper respiratory tract infection, abnormal hair growth, obesity, and nasopharyngitis. If any of these side effects bother you, let your doctor know.

Flamcor Syrup can make it harder for you to fight off infections. Tell your doctor if you have any signs of infection such as a fever or sore throat. Taking Flamcor with any of the following medicines can modify the effect of either of them and cause some undesirable side effects

Life-threatening

Herpes Zoster / Shingles Vaccine (Recombinant, Adjuvanted) (Injection Route)

It is recommended to wait at least 3 months after discontinuing a high dose of Deflazacort before taking Herpes Zoster / Shingles Vaccine (Recombinant, Adjuvanted).

Severe

Cholera Vaccine (Inactivated) (Oral Route)

It is recommended to wait at least 3 months after discontinuing a high dose of Deflazacort before taking Cholera Vaccine (Inactivated).

Severe

Purified Vi Polysaccharide Typhoid Vaccine (Injection Route)

It is recommended to wait at least 3 months after discontinuing a high dose of Deflazacort before taking Purified Vi Polysaccharide Typhoid Vaccine.

Efavirenz (Oral Route)

Concomitant use may disturb the heart rhythm. Efavirenz may increase the metabolism of Deflazacort.
