Ferotin Capsule contains three ingredients namely folic acid, iron, and zinc. Folic acid is essential for production of red blood cells. It prevents and treats folate deficiency and anemia. Iron replenishes the iron stores in the body and corrects iron deficiency anemia. Zinc is needed for the body's immune system to work properly. It plays a role in growth, wound healing, and maintaining gut health. Zinc is also needed for the senses of taste and smell.

What if you forget to take Ferotin Capsule?

Quick tips
- Avoid taking antacids 2 hours before or after taking Ferotin Capsule as they make it harder for your body to absorb the medicine.
- Let your doctor know if you are taking any other medications like antihypertensives, antibiotics, or medicines for heart disease or bone disorders.
- Drink 6 to 8 full glasses of water daily to help prevent constipation while you are taking this medicine. Do not use a stool softener (laxative) without first asking your doctor.
- Along with taking Ferotin Capsule, take a healthy diet, sleep for a minimum 6-7 hours at night, and reduce stress levels.
