Ferirad-XT Tablet may be taken with or without food. However, take it in the dose and duration prescribed by your doctor; do not take it in more than the recommended dose. It is also advised to take this medicine at a fixed time every day to avoid missing a dose.
It is usually a safe medicine with very minimal or no side effects. However, if you experience any unusual symptoms while taking this medicine, consult your doctor. They may be able to help you by adjusting the dose or prescribing you an alternative medicine.

- Avoid taking antacids 2 hours before or after taking Ferirad-XT Tablet as they make it harder for your body to absorb the medicine.
- Let your doctor know if you are taking any other medications like antihypertensives, antibiotics, or medicines for heart disease or bone disorders.
- Drink 6 to 8 full glasses of water daily to help prevent constipation while you are taking this medicine. Do not use a stool softener (laxative) without first asking your doctor.
- Along with taking Ferirad-XT Tablet, take a healthy diet, sleep for a minimum 6-7 hours at night, and reduce stress levels.
