Uses of Fenoxene Injection

Benefits of Fenoxene Injection

Hypertension (high blood pressure)
Hypertension (high blood pressure) is a long-term condition where the force of the blood against the artery walls is consistently too high, which increases the risk of heart attack, stroke, and other health problems. Fenoxene 50mg Injection helps by relaxing and widening the blood vessels, allowing blood to flow more easily. This helps lower blood pressure and reduces strain on the heart and arteries, helping prevent complications.

How to use Fenoxene Injection

Your doctor or nurse will give you this medicine. Kindly do not self administer.

How Fenoxene Injection works

Fenoxene 50mg Injection is an alpha blocker which helps reduce blood pressure in pheochromocytoma (a tumour of the adrenal gland). It works by opposing the action of certain hormones released from the tumor that cause the blood vessels to narrow and raise blood pressure.

Fenoxene 50mg Injection belongs to alpha receptor blockers class of medicines. Alpha receptors blockade decreases resistance thereby increasing blood flow to the skin, mucosa (membrane that lines various cavities of the body), and abdominal viscera (membrane lining the abdomen). Fenoxene 50mg Injection works by blocking alpha receptors, thereby decreasing blood pressure.
Using Fenoxene 50mg Injection in pheochromocytoma is beneficial due to its long duration of action leading to twice daily dosing.
