Fasenra Injection

Fasenra Injection is given as an injection under the skin (subcutaneous injection). The dose and treatment schedule depend on the condition being treated. It is commonly administered by a doctor or a nurse. To get the most benefit from treatment, attend all scheduled appointments and receive your injections on time.

The most common side effects of Fasenra Injection are headache, pharyngitis (sore throat), hypersensitivity, and flu-like symptoms. They often go away on their own; however, if any of these persist or worsen, consult your doctor.

Before starting Fasenra Injection, tell your doctor if you have a history of allergic reactions to benralizumab or any other medication. Avoid receiving live vaccines while on Fasenra Injection, as the medication may weaken your immune response. If you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding, discuss this with your doctor.
