Emof M Oral Suspension is a combination medicine that is used to treat diarrhea and dysentery. It prevents the growth of microorganisms to treat the infection.

Emof M Oral Suspension is a prescription medicine that is advised to be taken as suggested by the doctor. It should be taken with or without food, but it must be taken at a fixed time to ensure better efficacy. Do not consume more than the recommended dose, as an overdose of it may have harmful effects on your body. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. The treatment must be completed even if you feel better to ensure a complete recovery.

This medicine may lead to some side effects such as nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, loss of appetite, headache, etc. To overcome any such side effects, it is advised to eat a healthy balanced diet and drink plenty of fluid. How Emof M Oral Suspension works

Emof M Oral Suspension is a combination of two antibiotics: Ofloxacin and Metronidazole. Ofloxacin works by preventing the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing, thereby killing the bacteria. Metronidazole kills parasites and anaerobic bacteria that cause infections by damaging their DNA. Together, they treat your infection effectively.

Can the use of Emof M Oral Suspension cause nausea and vomiting?

Yes, the use of Emof M Oral Suspension can cause nausea and vomiting. Taking it with milk, food or with antacids can prevent nausea. Avoid taking fatty or fried foods along with this medicine. In case of vomiting, drink plenty of water or other fluids by taking small frequent sips. Talk to your doctor if vomiting persists and you notice signs of dehydration, like dark colored and strong-smelling urine and a low frequency of urination. Do not take any other medicine without speaking to a doctor.

Can the use of Emof M Oral Suspension cause dryness in the mouth?

Yes, the use of Emof M Oral Suspension can cause dry mouth. If you experience dry mouth drink plenty of water. Take regular sips during the day and keep some water by your bed at night. You may use lip balm if your lips are also dry.

Can I take Emof M Oral Suspension while I am breastfeeding?

Emof M Oral Suspension should be used with caution in nursing mothers as it can lead to serious side effects. You should always consult your doctor before taking Emof M Oral Suspension.
