You should take this medicine until your doctor tells you to stop. This medicine is not recommended for long-term treatment.

The most common side effect is sedation or drowsiness. Therefore, it is not advisable to drive or operate machinery. Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine, as it can worsen your sleepiness. It can also cause orthostatic hypotension (sudden lowering of blood pressure on standing) and blurred vision. These are usually temporary and often resolve with time. Contact your doctor straight away if you are at all concerned about these side effects.

Before taking this medicine, inform your doctor if you have jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes), epilepsy, muscle weakness (myasthenia gravis), or increased pressure in the eye (glaucoma). How Emit Tablet works
