It can be taken with or without food, but it is better to take Eczrid forte lotion at a fixed time.
Interaction with alcohol is unknown. Please consult your doctor.

Either animal studies have shown adverse effect on fetus and there are no human studies or studies in human and animals are not available. It should be given only if potential benefits justifies risk to the fetus. Please consult your doctor.

Tacrolimus Topical(0.1% w/w)


Eczrid forte lotion is used to treat atopic dermatitis (dry and itchy skin; also called eczema) of moderate to severe grade.

How it works

Eczrid forte lotion belongs to a class of medications called as immunomodulating agents. It works by treating atopic dermatitis by blocking calcineurin, a chemical responsible for activation of the inflammation in skin causing redness and itching.

Pain, Tingling sensation, Increased sensitivity to light, Application site itching, Skin rash, Skin redness, Burning sensation

  • Tell your doctor if you are using tacrolimus for 12 months.
  • Tell your doctor if you have weakened immune system, skin tumor, swollen lymph nodes, infected lesions or any skin related other disorder.
  • Do not allow tacrolimus to come in contact with your eyes, mouth or other inner skin layer (mucous membranes). In case of accidental contact, wash immediately with cool water.
  • Tell your doctor if you are or planning to become pregnant or are breastfeeding.
  • Do not use if you are allergic to tacrolimus or any of its ingredients.
  • Children < 16 must not use.
