Easid Mps Syrup is used in the treatment of acidity, bloating and stomach ulcers. It helps by relieving the symptoms such as stomach pain or irritation. It also helps in neutralizing and releasing excess gas in the stomach.


Easid Mps Syrup is a combination of three medicines. Take this medicine in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. Take it by mouth before meals, preferably at bedtime. In case you miss a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. Always complete the prescribed course of treatment. Do not take more than the recommended doses of this medicine as high dose may have harmful effects on the body.

Easid Mps Syrup is a combination of two antacids (Aluminium Hydroxide and Magnesium) and an antifoaming medicine (Simethicone). The antacids neutralise excess acid in stomach. The antifoaming medicine disintegrates gas bubbles and allows easy passage of gas.

  • This medicine can make it harder for your body to absorb other medicines, especially certain antibiotics. Avoid taking any other medicine within 2 hours before or 2 hours after you take Easid Mps Syrup.
  • Call your doctor if your symptoms do not improve within 2 weeks of taking this medicine.
  • Inform your doctor if you are taking any medicines which thin the blood (anticoagulants, e.g. warfarin).
  • Incorporate the following lifestyle changes in order to prevent acidity and bloating:
    1. Make sure you eat regular meals and drink plenty of water
    2. Avoid spicy and fatty fried food
    3. Lose weight if you are obese
    4. If you are a smoker, consider giving up
    5. Don't drink too much alcohol
