How to use Dyrade M Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Dyrade M 200 mg/250 mg Tablet is to be taken with food.

How Dyrade M Tablet works

Dyrade M 200 mg/250 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Metronidazole and Diloxanide. Metronidazole is an antibiotic. It kills the bacteria and other microorganisms that cause infections by damaging the DNA. Diloxanide is an amoebicide. It works inside the large intestine to kill the infection causing amoeba (parasites). Together, they treat your infection effectively.

Alcohol
CAUTION
Dyrade M 200 mg/250 mg Tablet may cause symptoms such as flushing, increased heartbeat, nausea, thirst, chest pain and low blood pressure with alcohol (Disulfiram reactions).
Pregnancy
WEIGH RISKS VS BENEFITS
Dyrade M 200 mg/250 mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation
No information is available on the use of Dyrade M 200 mg/250 mg Tablet during lactation. Please consult your doctor.
Driving
Do not drive unless you are feeling well.
Dyrade M 200 mg/250 mg Tablet may make you feel sleepy, dizzy, confused. You may have hallucinations, fits (convulsions) or temporary eyesight problems (such as blurred or double vision) affecting your ability to drive.
Kidney
