Dutaqor Tablet should be taken by mouth with or without food. This medicine is given for a long time and takes a few months to show its effects. Thus, it is important to take it as advised by the doctor and complete the full course of treatment.

Common side effects of Dutaqor Tablet include low sexual drive, ejaculation disorder, breast enlargement, and breast tenderness. If any of these side effects bother you, consult your doctor for guidance.

It is advised not to donate blood for 6 months after taking the last dose of Dutaqor Tablet. Let your doctor know if you have any other preexisting medical conditions before using this medicine. Let your doctor also know if you have a history of allergic reactions to any of the ingredients in this medicine. Dutaqor Tablet is not indicated for use in women.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Dutaqor Tablet may be taken with or without food.

How Dutaqor Tablet works

Dutaqor Tablet is a 5-alpha reductase inhibitor. It blocks an enzyme that is necessary to change testosterone to another hormone that causes the prostate to grow. As a result, it helps to shrink the prostate and relieve symptoms like difficulty in passing urine.

Dutaqor Tablet may take 3 to 6 months to see the full beneficial effect of Dutaqor Tablet. Hence, continue taking the medicine as advised by your doctor.
Dutaqor Tablet is usually well tolerated. However, it may produce some mild sexual side effects, such as low sexual drive.

Interaction with drugs

Taking Dutaqor with any of the following medicines can modify the effect of either of them and cause some undesirable side effects

watch out for symptoms such as reduced sexual drive, dizziness, blisters or mood changes and consult your doctor if you experience them. They may monitor and adjust the doses as per the observations. Isavuconazole may raise blood levels of Dutasteride.
