Duprost Capsule is used in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia. It shrinks the size of the enlarged prostate gland to relieve symptoms like pain and difficulty in passing urine.
Duprost Capsule should be taken by mouth with or without food. This medicine is given for a long time and takes a few months to show its effects. Thus, it is important to take it as advised by the doctor and complete the full course of treatment.
Common side effects of Duprost Capsule include low sexual drive, ejaculation disorder, breast enlargement, and breast tenderness. If any of these side effects bother you, consult your doctor for guidance.
It is advised not to donate blood for 6 months after taking the last dose of Duprost Capsule. Let your doctor know if you have any other preexisting medical conditions before using this medicine. Let your doctor also know if you have a history of allergic reactions to any of the ingredients in this medicine. Duprost Capsule is not indicated for use in women.
Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) is a non-cancerous enlargement of the prostate gland, common in older men. It can press on the urethra and cause problems like frequent urination, difficulty starting or stopping urine flow, and a weak stream. Duprost Capsule helps shrink the enlarged prostate over time, easing these urinary symptoms and reducing the need for surgery. It can also lower the risk of urinary retention, offering long-term relief and improved quality of life.
