Deripil Retard 231mg/69mg Tablet PR is used to treat asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder (a lung disorder in which the flow of air to the lungs is blocked). It helps in relaxing the muscles of the air passages and making it easier to breathe.


Deripil Retard 231mg/69mg Tablet PR is taken without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early, your symptoms may come back, and your condition may worsen. Deripil Retard 231mg/69mg Tablet PR is a combination of two bronchodilators: Etofylline and Theophylline. They work by relaxing the muscles in the airways and widening them. This makes breathing easier. It also prevents mucus buildup, helping to relieve wheezing, coughing, and shortness of breath.

  • Take it at the same time each day, preferably in the evening after food.
  • It does not work right away and should not be used to relieve sudden breathing problems. Always keep a fast-acting (rescue) inhaler with you.
