D-Kal Tablet may be taken with or without food. It should be used in the dose and duration as prescribed by your doctor. It is advised to take this medicine at a fixed time.
This medicine should not be taken more than the recommended dose. It is usually a safe medicine with very minimal or no side effects. However, if you experience severe diarrhea, vomiting, or constipation, you should consult your doctor without delay.

D-Kal Tablet is not recommended for children under 12 years, people allergic to any ingredient, or those with severe kidney issues, kidney stones, or very high levels of calcium or vitamin D in the blood.
Although they are rare, serious side effects of D-Kal Tablet may include unusual tiredness, confusion, loss of appetite, vomiting, extreme thirst, irregular heartbeat, or swelling in your face or throat. These can be signs of high calcium levels or an allergic reaction. Seek immediate medical attention if you notice any of these symptoms.
Yes, if you have kidney disease, D-Kal Tablet can increase your risk of kidney stones and cause other problems. Talk to your doctor before starting, and possibly monitor kidney tests during use.
Taking too much D-Kal Tablet either accidentally or intentionally can cause dangerously high calcium (hypercalcemia), with symptoms such as weakness, bone pain, confusion, and heart problems. Always follow the exact dose the doctor recommends.
Some medicines like thiazide diuretics, lithium, or heart drugs may react badly with D-Kal Tablet. Using together with bisphosphonates or fluoride, or taking antacids and certain antibiotics with D-Kal Tablet may also cause problems. Always tell your doctor about all medicines you use before starting this medicine.
