Cyclopentolate(NA)

Uses

Cyclotak eye drops is used to enlarge the pupil of the eye and to paralyze the lens (preventing the eye from focusing) temporarily before an eye examination or eye surgery. It is also used to treat iritis (painful inflammation of iris of eye) and uveitis (inflammation of inner layer of middle eye).

How it works

Cyclotak eye drops belongs to a group of medicines called mydriatic-anticholinergic drugs. It works by relaxing the circular muscles of iris thereby causing the pupil to dilate or widen.
