Costead Capsule contains Coenzyme Q10 which is a vitamin-like substance that is important for life and health of every cell. Maximum concentrations of it are found in the heart, liver, kidney, and pancreas and lowest concentration in the lungs. It is an antioxidant and has an ability to stimulate the immune system. It also beneficial for the health of the heart.

Who should take Costead Capsule?

You should take Costead Capsule only if doctor has advised you. Costead Capsule has a beneficial role when taken with other medicines in patients with heart failure, angina, high blood pressure, Parkinson’s disease, and migraine. It may also be advised in patients with Coenzyme Q10 deficiency, HIV/AIDS or in patients taking adriamycin. Costead Capsule is an additional therapy to the prescribed treatment. Do not substitute Costead Capsule for actual treatment required for these particular diseases.

Is Costead Capsule bad for the liver?

Costead Capsule may cause an increase in liver enzymes. Therefore, if you have liver disease, inform your doctor before you start taking this medicine. Therefore, taking Costead Capsule may help replenish the levels of Coenzyme Q10 while taking statins.

Can I take Costead Capsule with high blood pressure medication?

It has been shown that taking Costead Capsule along with blood pressure-lowering medicines can lower blood pressure more effectively. However, it should be taken with these medicines only if advised by the doctor. Some blood pressure-lowering medicines may interfere with the working of Costead Capsule. This medicine should not be used with hydralazine, clonidine, and hydrochlorothiazide.
