Codistar DC Tablet DT

Codistar DC Tablet DT may be taken with or without food in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. The dose you receive will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. Continue taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early, your symptoms may return, and your condition may worsen. Inform your healthcare provider about all other medicines you are taking, as some may affect, or be affected by, this medicine.

Common side effects of this medicine include headache, sedation, double vision, vomiting, diarrhea, dry mouth, and nausea. Most of these are temporary and usually resolve with time. Contact your doctor straight away if you are at all concerned about any of these side effects. This medicine can also cause sleepiness, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine, as it can worsen your sleepiness.

Never support self-medication or recommend your medicine to another person. It is beneficial to have plenty of fluids while taking this medication. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy, or breastfeeding. You should also tell your doctor if you have any kidney or liver diseases so that your doctor can prescribe a suitable dose for you.

• Treatment of Dry cough : Codistar DC Tablet DT helps suppress dry cough caused by throat irritation, allergies, viral infections, or environmental irritants.
• Treatment of Common cold : Codistar DC Tablet DT helps relieve symptoms of common cold such as sneezing, runny or blocked nose, sore throat, cough, and mild fever.

• Take Codistar DC Tablet DT only for the duration advised by your doctor, usually until symptoms improve.
• Drink plenty of fluids to soothe throat irritation and help relieve symptoms, but Codistar DC Tablet DT should not be used for cough with mucus.
• Codistar DC Tablet DT may cause drowsiness, so avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how it affects you.
• Avoid alcohol or other sedative medicines while taking Codistar DC Tablet DT, as they may increase sleepiness.
• Dry mouth or constipation may occur; staying hydrated and including fiber in your diet may help.
• Avoid combining Codistar DC Tablet DT with other cough or cold medicines unless advised by your doctor.
• Use with caution if you have high blood pressure or heart disease. Stop and consult your doctor if you experience palpitations or severe headache.
• Stop taking Codistar DC Tablet DT and seek medical help if you develop rash, facial swelling, or difficulty breathing.
• Consult your doctor if cough lasts more than one week, keeps recurring, or is accompanied by fever, rash, or persistent headache.
• Do not take Codistar DC Tablet DT with antidepressants or similar medicines without consulting your doctor, as it may cause serious side effects.
