Clofresh Dusting Powder is an antifungal medication. It is used in the treatment of fungal skin infections such as ringworm, athlete’s foot, nappy rash, sweat rash, and vaginal thrush. It kills the fungi by destroying the fungal cell membrane.
Clofresh Dusting Powder is for external use only. You should use it in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. This medicine should be used regularly to get the most benefit from it. Do not use more than you need, as that may cause increased side effects. If your condition goes on for longer than four weeks or gets worse at any time, let your doctor know. The effects of this medicine can be increased by keeping the affected area clean and dry and washing hands before and after treating the infection. If you have athlete’s foot, wash your socks or tights thoroughly and change your shoes daily if possible.
Some of the common side effects include allergic reactions and skin peeling. If the side effects bother you or do not go away, let your doctor know. Some people have a severe allergic reaction that needs urgent medical attention. Signs of this include rash, swelling of the lips, throat, or face, swallowing or breathing problems, dizziness and nausea. Get emergency help if this happens.
It is not likely that other medicines you take by mouth or injection will affect the way it works, but talk to your doctor before using it if you have used a similar medicine before and had an allergic reaction. This medicine should only be used if it is clearly needed during pregnancy.

We can't prescribe you any oral medication as you are pregnant. Fungal infection of skin calls for better hygiene, regular bathing, clean garments and use of talcum powder. Apply Terbicip cream twice daily
Hello, I work in a very sweaty environment, I recently had a ringworm outbreak, I used EBERNET and it worked perfectly fine for me, On the recommendation of a few friends who suggested to use anti-fungal soap for a few days to ensure that the spores are completely eliminated from my body. Are there any effective anti-fungal soaps or shampoos that I can use to treat ringworm infection? Is there a method to determine if my scalp is affected by ringworm's? If I do happen to have this, What should be my next set of actions to treat ringworm's on scalp, before visiting a hospital/clinic? Regards, PATIENT

FAQs
What is Clofresh Dusting Powder used for?
Clofresh Dusting Powder is an antifungal medicine. It is used to treat fungal skin infections such as ringworm (fungal skin infection that causes a red scaly rash on different parts of the body), athlete’s foot (fungal infection of the skin on the feet and between the toes), fungal nappy rash and fungal sweat rash. It is also used to relieve irritation of the vulva (external thrush) and irritation occurring at the end of the penis, which may be associated with thrush.
Clofresh Dusting Powder is effective against which fungi?
Clofresh Dusting Powder is effective against Trichophyton species which cause ringworm infection, athlete’s foot, and jock itch (fungal infection of the skin in the groin or buttocks). It is also effective against yeast known as Candida which commonly causes vaginal thrush (infection caused by an overgrowth of yeast called Candida albicans).
I have started using Clofresh Dusting Powder. By when can I expect to start seeing the improvements?
The symptoms of skin infection, such as itching or soreness, should improve within a few days of treatment. However, the signs such as redness and scaling may take longer to disappear. Do not stop applying this medicine before the duration advised by your doctor, even if you feel better.
What precautions are necessary while applying Clofresh Dusting Powder?
Always wash your hands thoroughly before and after applying Clofresh Dusting Powder. If you are using the cream for an infected foot, wash and dry your feet thoroughly before applying the cream, especially between the toes, before applying the cream. Clofresh Dusting Powder should be applied thinly and evenly and rubbed gently onto the affected areas two or three times daily.
For how long should I apply Clofresh Dusting Powder? Can I stop if the symptoms have completely disappeared?
The duration of treatment depends on the type of infection. In general, the treatment is continued for 1 month for tinea infection and for at least 15 days for candida infection. Do not stop the treatment on your own even if you feel better because the infection may come back as it takes some time to kill the fungus.
Is Clofresh Dusting Powder safe to use in children?
Clofresh Dusting Powder is safe for children only if taken as directed by the doctor. It should be given to children in the correct dose only for the prescribed length of time. Minor side effects may occur but usually, they are not bothersome. However, if you develop a burning sensation, redness, and itching (which is severe in nature), stop the medicine and contact your doctor.
Are there any measures that should be taken to help a faster recovery?
Keep the affected skin areas clean and dry but avoid excessive rubbing. You may have the urge to scratch because of itchiness but avoid scratching as it will damage the surface of the skin and cause the infection to spread further. Do not share towels, bath mats, etc. with other people as you could spread the infection to them.
Does Clofresh Dusting Powder affect contraception?
Clofresh Dusting Powder may reduce the effectiveness of rubber contraceptives, like diaphragms and condoms. If you are using the cream on the vulva or penis, you should use alternative methods of contraception, for at least 5 days after using Clofresh Dusting Powder.
