Medicine Overview of Ciplox Tablet
Ciplox 500 mg Tablet is used in the treatment of bacterial infections
. It is also used in infections of urinary tract, tonsils, sinus, nose, throat, female genital organ, skin and soft tissues, windpipe and lungs (pneumonia).
Side Effects of Ciplox are Nausea, Diarrhoea.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Ciplox 500 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Avoid Ciplox 500 mg Tablet with caffeine and chocolate as well as food containing caffeine and chocolate such as tea leaves, cocoa beans.
Ciplox 500 mg Tablet is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing, thereby killing the bacteria.

- Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better.
Discontinue Ciplox 500 mg Tablet and inform your doctor immediately if you get a rash, itchy skin, swelling of face and mouth, or have difficulty in breathing.
- Diarrhea may occur as a side effect but should stop when your course is complete. Inform your doctor if it doesn't stop or if you find blood in your stools.
Notify your doctor if you feel pain in your tendons, numbness, or tingling sensations.
Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to conceive or breastfeeding.

Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Baby should be closely monitored for development of fever, loss of appetite and diarrhea. In case, any of the above happens please inform your doctor immediately.
Ciplox 500 mg Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.

Ciplox 500 mg Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Ciplox 500 mg Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
Inform your doctor if you develop any signs of jaundice like yellowing of eyes and skin, itching, and clay colored stools while taking this medicine.
If you miss a dose of Ciplox 500 mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Hello, it could be allergic reaction or local injury which is leading to red eye. Wash the eyes properly with cool water thice daily. If redness persist put Toba eye drops 1 drop in each eye every 8 hrly for 3 days.

As per your reports everything is almost fine. Most likely chances are you may have UTI. I would suggest to continue Ciprofloxacin 500 for total 5 days then 250mg (half tablet) 5 days more. Take Paracetamol 500 whenever you get fever. Also take cap. Vizilac 1 cap daily
Dear its been 1 month i have been suffering from fever doctor concluded its typhoid i got tested again i am attaching the report first i took azithromycin then ciplox now i am taking cefuroxime but there is still low grade fever like 99 in the morning Please tell whether it is typhoid and why it is taking so long to cure

I am allergic to ciplox, PCM, And some other anti biotic. I happens every time I get cold and if I take any medicine i get allergic to it and get itchy skin and red patches on all over the skin and It occur on the same patches when it started i am sharing the pic along with it as i am looking fit permanent cure for it.
