How to use Cetinbro Syrup

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Cetinbro Syrup may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How Cetinbro Syrup works

Cetinbro Syrup is a combination of two medicines: Cetirizine and ambroxol which relieve cough. Cetirizine is an antiallergic that treats runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Ambroxol is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out.

CAUTION
Cetinbro Syrup may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.
Pregnancy

Cetinbro Syrup may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation

Driving
It is not known whether Cetinbro Syrup alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.
Kidney
CAUTION
Cetinbro Syrup should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Cetinbro Syrup may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease. May cause excessive sleepiness in patients with end stage kidney disease.
Liver
Cetinbro Syrup is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Cetinbro Syrup may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
