Cal-C 1000 Tablet is a combination of four medicines : Calcium citrate, Magnesium Hydroxide, Calcitriol, and Zinc Sulphate Monohydrate. Calcium citrate is a water-soluble calcium supplement. It increases the plasma calcium levels. Magnesium Hydroxide is an antacid that neutralizes the excessive acid in the stomach. Zinc Sulphate Monohydrate is a nutritional supplement that provides essential nutrients to our body and improves overall health. Vitamin D3 is a form of vitamin D. It raises vitamin D levels in your blood. This in turn raises calcium levels in your blood by helping you absorb more calcium from food.

People with kidney impairment have higher risks of hyperphosphatemia (an abnormally high level of phosphate in the blood), nephrolithiasis (kidney stones), and nephrocalcinosis (a condition where calcium deposits form in the kidney tissue, most often the renal medulla), and need medical supervision.
