Product introduction

Becloent S Lotion should be used in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Wash your hands before using this medicine. It is advised to check the label for directions before use. It is for external use only.

Do not use this medicine more than the recommended dose. Inform your doctor if you have known allergies from this medicine. The common side effects of this medicine include dry skin, burning, irritation, itchiness, and redness at the application site.

If these side effects or any other symptoms which you think are because of this medicine persist for a longer duration, please consult your doctor. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or are suffering from any other disease. This medicine is safe to use in breastfeeding mothers.

Psoriasis
Psoriasis is a skin problem in which skin cells build up and form scales and dry patches which are itchy and painful. Applying Becloent S Lotion helps manage psoriasis symptoms like itching, pain, redness, swelling or irritation. It moisturizes the skin and makes it soft and smooth. Clean and dry the affected area before applying Becloent S Lotion. Use it atleast 2-3 times a day or as prescribed. You may see change in your skin appearance after few weeks.
Eczema
Eczema is a condition in which patches of skin swells and becomes dry, itchy, rough and red. Becloent S Lotion moisturizes the skin and helps reduce dryness and itchiness. It reduces swelling and redness at the affected area. Apply 1-2 times a day or as prescribed by your doctor. You might see an improvement in your skin after 2 to 3 weeks of treatment.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

How Becloent S Lotion works

Becloent S Lotion is a combination of two medicines: Beclometasone and Salicylic Acid which treat eczema and psoriasis. Beclometasone is a steroid medicine. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy. Salicylic Acid is a keratolytic medicine which breaks down keratin clumps, removes dead skin cells and softens the skin. It also enhances the absorption of Beclometasone into the skin.

Quick tips

  • Becloent S Lotion is used to treat the redness, swelling, itching, and discomfort of various skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis.
  • Apply to the affected areas as a thin film two or three times daily, or as advised by your doctor.
  • Don't cover the area being treated with airtight dressings such as bandages unless directed by a doctor, as this may increase the risk of side effects.
  • After you have applied Becloent S Lotion, remember to wash your hands (unless your hands are in the treated area).
  • Consult your doctor if your skin condition has not improved after 2 weeks of treatment.

Becloent S Lotion is used to treat steroid-sensitive skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, and other hyperkeratotic (thick, scaly) dermatoses. Becloent S Lotion contains beclometasone, which reduces inflammation, and salicylic acid, which helps remove scales.
Individuals should not use Becloent S Lotion if they are allergic to any of its ingredients, have untreated skin infections, rosacea, acne, or perioral dermatitis. It should not be applied to open wounds.
Use Becloent S Lotion on large areas, or for long periods only if directed by your doctor, as it may increase the risk of side effects, including thinning skin, and absorption of the steroid into the bloodstream.
While using Becloent S Lotion, you should avoid covering the treated area with bandages unless told by your doctor. Do not use it for longer than prescribed, and do not stop suddenly. Your doctor may advise you to reduce its use gradually to avoid flare-ups. Keep away from the eyes, and wash your hands after application.
Becloent S Lotion should be used with caution in children, and only under medical supervision. Children are more likely to absorb steroids (a medicine component present in Becloent S Lotion) through the skin, which may affect growth and hormone balance.
