ATCHOL EZ TABLET 10MG/10MG is a combination of two medicines: Atorvastatin and ezetimibe. Atorvastatin is a lipid-lowering medicine which prevents your body from making "bad" cholesterol (LDL) while raising "good" cholesterol (HDL) levels. Ezetimibe is a cholesterol absorption inhibitor which prevents absorption of cholesterol from the intestines. Together, they provide better reduction of cholesterol in your body.
Taking Atorvastatin with alcohol may increase the risk of liver damage.
ATCHOL EZ TABLET 10MG/10MG is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy. Human and animal studies have shown significant adverse effects on the foetus. Please consult your doctor.
ATCHOL EZ TABLET 10MG/10MG is probably unsafe to use during lactation.
Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
ATCHOL EZ TABLET 10MG/10MG may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
ATCHOL EZ TABLET 10MG/10MG is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of ATCHOL EZ TABLET 10MG/10MG is recommended.
ATCHOL EZ TABLET 10MG/10MG should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of ATCHOL EZ TABLET 10MG/10MG may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Use of ATCHOL EZ TABLET 10MG/10MG is not recommended in patients with moderate to severe liver disease.
