Arizex-Plus Tablet is a prescription medicine used to treat Alzheimer's disease. It helps to slow down the progression of moderate to severe Alzheimer's by improving memory and thinking. It also increases the levels of a chemical messenger involved in the transmission of nerve signals.
Arizex-Plus Tablet can be taken with or without food, but you may take it with food to avoid a stomach upset. However, it is advised to take it at the same time each day to maintain a consistent level of medicine in the blood. Do not skip any doses, but if you miss a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. Finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better and do not stop taking it suddenly.
Some common side effects of this medicine include nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, fatigue, and headache. It may also cause dizziness and sleepiness. So, do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. Drink plenty of fluids to keep yourself hydrated while taking this medicine as this medicine may cause diarrhea.

How Arizex-Plus Tablet works
Arizex-Plus Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Donepezil and Memantine which treat Alzheimer’s disease. Donepezil is a cholinesterase inhibitor while Memantine is an NMDA inhibitor. Together, they balance the levels of chemical messengers in the brain and help in the transmission of nerve signals.

What if you forget to take Arizex-Plus Tablet?
If you miss a dose of Arizex-Plus Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
