    Etoricoxib(90 mg)

    Uses

    Alock e 90mg tablet is used in pain, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis and gout
    It should be used in patients of 16 years of age and older.

    How it works

    Alock e 90mg tablet blocks the release of certain chemical messengers that are responsible for pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).

    Can I take ibuprofen/ tramadol / naproxen /Panadol (paracetamol)/warfarin /Celebrex (celecoxib)/ aspirin /antibiotics (e.g. rifampicin, streptomycin)/colchicine with etoricoxib?
    Etoricoxib should not be taken with other pain-relieving medicines belonging to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) class like ibuprofen/ / naproxen / Panadol (paracetamol)/ /Celebrex (celecoxib)/ aspirin, as it increases the risk of stomach ulcers and bleeding. Etoricoxib should not be taken with blood-thinning medication like warfarin, as it increases the risk of bleeding from areas such as ulcers in the stomach or gut. Etoricoxib may be often prescribed with strong pain-killers like tramadol for severe pain. There is no data showing serious interactions between colchicine, antibiotics (e.g. rifampicin, streptomycin) and etoricoxib. Any drug combination with etoricoxib should be taken only as per instructions from the doctor
