Alenost 10mg Tablet is a bisphosphonate. It acts by suppressing the activity of osteoclasts, cells that cause the destruction of bone, thereby strengthening the bones and minimizing the risk of fractures.
It is generally safe to consume alcohol with Alenost 10mg Tablet.

Alenost 10mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Alenost 10mg Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation.
Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby. If you are taking Alenost 10mg Tablet during breastfeeding, monitor baby's blood calcium levels during the first two months.
Do not drive unless you are feeling well. Alenost 10mg Tablet is not expected to have any effects but in rare cases, it may cause dizziness, severe muscle, joint and bone pain and eye pain or inflammation. This may affect your ability to drive.
Alenost 10mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Alenost 10mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Dose adjustment is not recommended in patients with mild to moderate kidney disease.
Alenost 10mg Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Alenost 10mg Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
