It may also cause dizziness, drowsiness, or visual disturbances. Consult your doctor if any of these side effects persist or worsen. If you take this medicine for long-term treatment, your doctor may regularly monitor your kidney function, liver function, and blood component levels. Long-term use may lead to serious complications, such as stomach bleeding and kidney problems. Aceclo Tablet is not recommended if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Aceclo Tablet should be used with caution during breastfeeding. Breastfeeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from the body.

Driving

UNSAFE

Aceclo Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision, or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Kidney

CAUTION

Aceclo Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment may be needed.
Use of Aceclo Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.

Liver

CAUTION

Aceclo Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment may be needed.
Use of Aceclo Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease. Regular monitoring of liver function tests is advisable while the patient is taking this medicine.

Interaction with drugs

Taking Aceclo with any of the following medicines can modify the effect of either of them and cause some undesirable side effects

Long-term use and high doses of Aceclo Tablet may cause renal problems, such as protein or blood in urine and pain during urination. Patients who had or have heart failure, impaired kidney function and hypertension are at risk of kidney problems. The risk of developing kidney problems is also high in patients who are on medicines which cause excess urination (diuretics), or medicines which have significant impact on kidney function. Along with that, Aceclo Tablet can affect kidneys of patients who are above 65 years of age or who remain dehydrated. Therefore, kidney function monitoring is recommended for such patients.

What if I forget to take a dose of Aceclo Tablet?

If you forget a dose of Aceclo Tablet, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take the next scheduled dose in the prescribed time. Do not double the dose to make up for the missed one as this may increase the chances of developing side effects.

Does Aceclo Tablet make you drowsy?

Aceclo Tablet can cause drowsiness and also dizziness, fatigue (tiredness) and visual disturbances. However, it is not very common and may not affect everyone. If you experience these symptoms avoid driving or operating heavy machinery.

What is the most important information I need to know about Aceclo Tablet?

It is important to know that Aceclo Tablet may increase your chance of having a heart attack or stroke. The risk is more if you take higher doses and have been using the medicine for a longer time. Also, the use of Aceclo Tablet may cause ulcers, bleeding, or holes in your stomach and intestine. These problems may happen without warning symptoms at any time during treatment and may even cause death. Therefore, if you encounter any such problems, consult your doctor immediately.

Can Aceclo Tablet be taken during pregnancy?

You should not take Aceclo Tablet during the last 3 months of pregnancy as it may cause harmful effects on your baby. Use of Aceclo Tablet can also lead to reduced labor (premature delivery). Hence, it is advised to avoid using Aceclo Tablet during the first 6 months of pregnancy also. In some cases, Aceclo Tablet may be prescribed in pregnant women only if the benefits outweigh the risks involved with its use in pregnant women. If not sure, consult your doctor regarding its use.
