How Abigama Lotion works
Abigama Lotion is a combination of two medicines: cetrimide and gamma benzene hexachloride. Cetrimide kills certain bacteria and fungi by damaging their protective covering. Gamma benzene hexachloride causes paralysis in parasites (lice and mites) by getting absorbed into them and kills them and their eggs.
Quick tips
- Make sure to thoroughly wash your hands before and after applying Abigama Lotion.
- Do not apply it on broken or crusted skin, or open skin sores.
- Do not let it get in contact with the eyes, ears, nose, or mouth. Rinse with water if the drug accidentally gets in these areas.
- Do not use a large amount of Abigama Lotion or longer than prescribed, as it won’t deliver quick results and rather increase the risk of side effects.
- Do not give it to other people with the same symptoms as yours, as it may worsen their condition.
